Founders journey

It was the spring of 1987 and I joined a local Peugeot dealership as a Used Car Sales Executive with no sales experience and definitely no sales process to follow. I was surrounded by Peugeot 104’s, 205’s, Talbot Samba’s and Talbot Alpine’s. My first car I sold was a white Peugeot 205 with white wheels.

I progressed through my career working for a Rover Cars dealership followed by a brief spell selling Citroen cars before joining my local Land Rover dealership who were part of a large group. Here I climbed the management ladder becoming a Business Manager followed by Sales Manager. I managed teams who looked after retail sales, business to business sales, trade sales and purchases as well as auction buying and selling. All standing me in good stead for the future.

As time inevitably pushes on my experiences grew including, Jaguar Cars, VW, Renault and Mercedes-Benz all providing valuable knowledge

So I understand the nuances of a customer buying a car and a dealer selling a car. ​That's why I created this site to provide a simple platform where buyer meets seller.
